“I specialize in working with those who find themselves caught at the intersection of culture and one’s sense of self.”

If you have ever asked yourself “Where do I belong in the world?” or “Where do I fit in?” you are most certainly not the only one and you are in the right place.

From the values inherited as children, to the acquired values that sometimes clash with individuality, somewhere in that gray area is someone who needs to know that they belong. Sadly, a lot of us learned to make ourselves smaller in order to feel loved or worthy. Your voice and your story are important and deserve to be heard. I provide an intimate space where you can explore and reveal your worth in a world that taught us that worth must be earned.

You deserve to feel like you belong in every single room that you are in. As someone who has invested time doing my own work with my own therapist, I knew I found “the one” when she helped me realize that I can give myself permission to take up space. Believe me when I say, that doing this work and witnessing you begin to claim space and connect these parts of yourself to form an imperfect, yet beautiful mosaic of healing is nothing short of inspiring. I am honored to hear the voice that has been silenced or shamed for so long. I hope to instill hope in others in a world that can oftentimes feel hopeless. With me, you can express and be yourself. You are allowed to take up space.

As a working class Latina therapist who’s experienced cultural and class trauma, I deeply understand the pain and confusion that arises when examining the impact of generational trauma.

I specialize in working with those who are exploring their cultural identity and finding a place to belong. From where and how you grew up, to cultural values, your identity and sense of self are heavily impacted by your ancestors - both their triumphs and their traumas.
