Taking the leap into private practice can seem both exciting and daunting. I was fortunate to have people around me who not only said "yes, you can" but helped educate me and remove barriers to creating a successful private practice.

Private practice asks us to wear a lot of hats: business owner, therapist, accountant, writer, risk taker, IT pro, public relations master, web designer, marketing guru… it’s a lot to learn. Some tasks come naturally, some stretch us to build new skills, and some are best handed off to an expert. Knowing where to start and how to move from dreaming, to visioning, to taking action is what this incubator is all about.

I was fortunate to have mentors who responded to my ideas with “Yes, you can,” and who helped me navigate or overcome the barriers in my way. They stood by me during moments of fear and doubt (we all have them), celebrated milestones like renting my first office, and cheered when I finally took a vacation with the confidence that my business could hold steady while I was gone.

I want to offer what they offered me: someone who delights in seeing your practice grow and is invested in helping you build it.

We'll meet each month for 8 months to investigate the following areas of building a private practice:
